Peace

S1 E5: As Christmas nears, it often seems the world is anything but peaceful. Lengthy travel. Tight budgets. Family feuds. Not too unlike the very first Christmas 2,000 years ago. And yet, God broke through the chaos with a bold proclamation - Peace! Are your nights not-so-silent? Then you're in good company! Just as the angels proclaimed to the frightened shepherds, so the Lord tells us in the midst of our troubles today, 'Peace! Peace on earth. Good will to men.' When your world is at war... peace. When your family is feuding... peace. When you can't possibly check off your list of 'to do's'... peace! In the fourth week of Advent, we light the candle of peace, celebrating the peace of God that passes all understanding. A peace that was born in Bethlehem. And a peace that is reborn in our hearts when Jesus is our savior.
