Murder, My Suite

S6 E14: Dr. Sloan treats Amanda and Jesse to lunch to acknowledge Amanda's medical examiner investigation award. Unfortunately, their festivities are interrupted when a young man collapses in the swank hotel restaurant wearing only a bathrobe. Coincidentally, Dr. Sloan's former colleague and infectious disease expert, Dr. Inv Downey also happens to be dining in the restaurant. Immediately, Dr. Sloan, Jesse, Amanda and Downey tend to the patient, Art Vander, and discover that he contracted the deadly Legionnaire's disease. Further investigation reveals that someone purposely emptied the contents of the fatal bacteria into the hotel air ducts forcing the medical team to quarantine the hotel! Upon hearing the news, Vander's university professor, Jim Bethers, contacts Steve and tells him that Vander stole two strains of the Legionnaire virus from the college. Oddly, the college is also missing the only existing antigen in the vicinity. (TV-PG)
