S1 E1: Martin Milner as Senior Officer Pete Malloy, and Kent McCord as his rookie partner, Officer Jim Reed, star in the series about two uniformed members of the Los Angeles Police Department. They are assigned to patrol car designated as ADAM 12. In "Log-One" Malloy, veteran of several years, plans to resign because he is torn up emotionally at the loss of his former partner killed by a robber's bullet. But on this day, Malloy is partnered with the very eager (but green) Reed, and events cause Malloy to reconsider his future.
