S1 E2: Les Mckeown went from being lead singer of the Bay City Rollers, a pop superstar, pursued by adoring fans wherever he went to penniless obscurity virtually overnight. Three decades later, he's drinking himself to death. In his own words, committing a 'slow suicide'. When Les arrives at Passages he's put on medication to help with the withdrawal and spends the first few days dopey and miserable. Les then makes an overnight decision not to take any more medication and he instantly begins to sit up and participate in the therapy. In a one to one session with psychologist Laure Weber, Les decides he needs to confess something so personal he wants the camera switched off. He later reveals on camera that he talked about an incident in his youth in which he was 'date raped' by a man. What's more Les confesses to partially enjoying teh incident and to having homosexual feelings. Having talked about this for the first time, Les is a man completely and visably transformed - he's realised he doesn't need to be ashamed and has a lot to live for.
