The Flying Nun
It's an Ill Wind
S1 E11:
Sister Bertrille finds that Mother Superior has left important papers behind when she goes to St. Thomas. Carlos, entertaining a beautiful girl, and fending off FBI man Owens, refuses to fly the papers to Mother Superior. Sister Bertrille, delivering them herself, loses her way and decides to rest on a small island, where Talc Edwards and his mob are making plans to take over a rival territory. As Sister Bertrille zooms in, Talc, sure she is supernatural, decides to reform. Sister Bertrille somehow switches Mother Superior's envelope with one containing details of the mob's worldwide operations. Louis Larue and his executioners, coming for final instructions to wipe out the rival gang, find Talc's gang singing hymns with Sister Bertrille. Larue's men leave, but Talc is sure they will return to get them on orders from the rival gang. As Sister Bertrille flies over, Larue's pilot becomes unnerved. He loses control and the plane crashes. Completely reformed, Talc's men go to the rescue. At the convent, Sister Jacqueline finds the mobsters' plans. Sister Bertrille goes to Carlos to ask him to deliver them to Talc, and Owens intercepts them. He is amazed when Sister Bertrille insists Talc and his mob are perfect gentlemen. As the gangsters are rounded up, Sister Bertrille joins them in a final hymn.
