Incident of the Woman Trap

S4 E16: Three wagonloads of attractive "mail-order" brides, misled about their destination, get help from Gil Favor's drovers. While looking for water for their herd of beeves, two of Gil Favor's drovers meet three wagon loads of young and attractive girls who tell them they are "mail-order" brides on their way to Fort Worth to meet their prospective husbands. They are being escorted by a group of cowboys and are waiting for an axle of one of their wagons to be repaired. All of Favor's drovers spend an enjoyable evening of music and dancing with the girls. The next day, however, the girls are told they are not going to Fort Worth, but to a small west Texas town where some cattle rustlers' men are demanding wives. Favor becomes suspicious of the whole situation when one of the brides-to-be is found, near death, on the trail over which he is leading his herd. He decides to go back and investigate. He finds the girls really need his help. (TV-PG)
