In the Heart of America

S1 E2: The American writer John Steinbeck called Route 66, the mother of the roads, "Mother Road" 70 years ago in his novel "The Fruits of Wrath". It has stayed in the minds of Americans, even if it has not been found on any road map since the construction of the autobahn.
