Forts, Trails and Battle Sites of the Indian Wars

S1 E2: There are many historic forts and battle sites all across the southern and northern Great Plains. Many are well preserved, while others are represented by a simple marker, and some have nothing at all. Every site is a powerful reminder of the longest war in American History - the Great Plains Indian War ... A war in which thousands lost their lives. And at every site ghostly hauntings of those who died linger for the intrepid visitor to discover and relish.
