Episode 4

S1 E4: Steve’s attempt to land himself a high-profile case backfires when he falls into old habits and has sex with a gorgeous young client, as well as her mother. When Steve’s clients attempt to sue Canal Road over these ethical breaches, Olivia is left with no other choice than to fire Steve. But Spence comes to the rescue with a piece of psychological detective work that unmasks the mother and daughter as con-artists and serial suers. The father of one of Spence’s patients is intent on learning what his daughter has confided in the psychiatrist. When a bugging operation fails, the man persuades ambitious Steve to spy on Spence, in return for future career advantages.
