Episode 1

S1 E1: 18-year-old Anna Gibson becomes a Bride of Christ. As Sister Gabriel, she will join an order of nuns who still wear the medieval veil and habit, and live disciplined lives cut off from the outside world. Sixteen years later, Anna views her tiny cell as a prison and, at 34, is becoming acutely aware of her own desire for a child. Coincidentally, a family tragedy will change her life forever.
