Episode 1

S1 E1: Teenager Carrie comes home from a party one night to discover her mother, a prostitute named Sally, murdered. Although she sees a blood-stained man at the scene, the crime goes unsolved. Fifteen years later, an adult Carrie-now calling herself Carol-is on the verge of getting married when she visits the original detective on the case to help her put the trauma behind her.
