Death Ride

S1 E4: Driving from San Francisco with the daughter of a crime czar, who has agreed to tell all he knows when the girl arrives safely, Starsky and Hutch are pursued by killers who will stop at nothing to prevent the girl and her es-corts from surviving the journey in "Death Ride." Mobster Andrew Mello has agreed to testify before a Senate committee, but fears for the life of: his daughter, Joanne. After having survived one attempted assassination, Millo refuses to talk until Joanne is brought safely to him. After pledging total secrecy, Captain Dobey sends his "best men" to fetch Joanne, but Starsky and Hutch soon realize their "secret mission" has become a "top contract" in the underworld.
