S1 E6: After being labeled as 'Next Year's Team', the Dallas Cowboys wanted to prove to the NFL they could be champions. In 1971 the Dallas Cowboys would win Super Bowl VI convincingly to erase all doubt. Cowboys’ legends Roger Staubach, Duane Thomas, and Bob Lilly recount the 1971 season from Thomas's contractual troubles, to Lilly being a part of the 'Doomsday Defense', to the quarterback controversy between Staubach and Craig Morton. The 1971 season would be one of the most memorable seasons in Cowboys history and it would be the start of a legendary career for one of the all time great NFL quarterbacks.
