S1 E5: The Achilles tendon is the thickest and strongest tendon in the body. Requiring nearly a year of rehab, and a high uncertainty of returning to full strength, an Achilles tear is one of the most devastating injuries an athlete can face. So, when Baltimore Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs and University of Denver Lacrosse player Jamie Faus both suffered this season ending injury, their future careers were in jeopardy. Both players sought treatment at the University of Colorado, Boulder to treat their Achilles tear. We’ll watch the actual Achilles surgery and track their grueling, dramatic rehab as they attempt to return back to the field and dominate their sports.
